Dry and Drier Skin

Assalamualaikum , Selamat Sejahtera and Hello !

I have been a terrible blogger(urmmm..I don't like to call myself a blogger.more like someone who owns a blog but rarely update) . But anyway, today I'm going to share with you some tips on how to cure dry skin-from my personal experience that is.

Since I started my studies, most of the time I would be in air-conditioned room. This makes my skin super dry. It's very frustrating because it's actually my body skin is dry. My face skin is combination oily prone. The weather here also makes my skin dry. It's very hot during the afternoon but in late evening it will rain. The constant change of weather temperature also affects my skin. Somehow this reminds me of when I was in Turkey and UK last year. Winter makes my skin super dry that I was really in state of horror seeing my skin flaked  ;A;

Anyhow, these are some of the tips I would like to share

1)Drink lots of water for your health.It helps because it can restore the moisture and besides drinking lots of water has many benefits. By water I mean, mineral water. Though from what I read drinking water does not do much for dry skin, but it still keeps your body hydrate.

2)Moisturise your skin. Do you know that even if you have oily skin you must use moisturiser? This is because it can balance out the oil in your skin. But in this topic, when you use moituriser, it will helps to keep your skin moisturise.Hence the name moisturiser..as simple as that. If your body skin is dry, do use body lotion at least once a day. St.Ives and Nivea work wonders

I got this one for free when I went to Turkey.But the packaging is all in Turkish  :P

3)Use moiturise body wash. In the market nowdays has many type of body wash. I would suggest a body wash that contains milk or honey. This will keep your skin stay hydrated without wearing body lotion. Though I still think body lotion is important.

4)Avoid taking hot bath or shower. Which I can't. One of the reason why my skin is still dry is because I take hot shower. I can't really shower using cold water. This is bad. But I'm slowly trying to change my shower habit :P

5)Avoid staying in air conditioned room for too long. Well, we know Malaysian likes air cond. But people, please minimize it. Usually I won't turn on the air cond in my room because I already been in air conditioned room during class. I also avoid sleeping in air conditioned room. Not only it makes my skin dry, but also my chest will hurt the next day. Like now,I'm having a terrible cold because I sleep in air conditioned room =='

Moisturiser for combination skin

How are you?Happy Sunday!Sometimes I forgot the day since I finished school.hihi.
Anyway,today I'm going to talk about a product that I love :D

Oil-Free Moisture for Combination Skin

"Oil-Free Moisture for Combination Skin is a lightweight, dual-action formula that moisturizes dry areas while it controls oily shine."

Says the description on the box and in the web.So anyway,I used this moisturiser after I had a bad relationship with Hada Labo . And I have been loving this one because of everything!

Firstly , I like how it leaves this kind of matte finish after I apply it.Certain moituriser feels a bit oily after application.But not this one

Second , in terms of price , it is really affordable and quite cheap for a good moisturiser . You can buy it in any drugstore

Third , I like how the pump can lock by turning it to the side . This can avoid spillage if you are travelling . LOVE LOVE LOVE


But there is one thing that I don't really like about this moisturiser is that on certain days-very hot weather- , my skin produce oil quite a lot . Probably , this moituriser is not really good for a person who have really oily skin . But other than that ,I think this moituriser is worth it .

Hada Labo:they hates me T_T

Today,I'm going to share about a skin care range which I used for about 3 months this year.

I don't know what I like about this product actually.It makes my skin so dry.I have some dry patches on my skin after a month of usage.At first,I can't really see any results.Then I started to see the bad effects.So,I stop using it and went back to my Herbaline...*sigh*

But now,I only use the whitening lotion which acts like a toner.I can say it does makes my skin brighter.Or maybe because I have been lock in my room to study.huhu

Let's  go one by one

1)Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Face Wash-50g
I forgot the price but if not mistaken it is about RM30++.correct me if I'm wrong 
All I can say is,this thing is really foamy and it smells nice.It have this kind of citrus smell to it.But then I'm not sure if this face wash makes my skin dry.SUSPECT #1!

2)Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion-170ml
It cost around RM50++  . It is clear solution.It does not feel sticky which is good.Have some sort a smell which I cannot really tell what it is.Like I said,I've been using this as a toner.So, I don't think this product cause my skin dry .NOT GUILTY!

3)Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Milk-140ml
Totally forgot the price.Sorry.hehe.I don't like how it makes my skin feel oily after I put it.Gosh,just hate how this moisturiser does to me >.< SUSUPECT #2!

Gone crazy at The Body Shop + giveaway??

How are you ? I hope you in a good mood because I am in a good mood too !!!! ^^ I went to The Body Shop in ECM .. So , i kind of bought a lot of things . hehe ~ The thing is , I got 25% off for everything I bought because they have a birthday promotion . Anyway , here are the stuffs I have bought

I must say that I kind of crazy that time to spend a lot of money for all those things. But thank God I got RM50 off because of the birthday promotion thingy . Let's talk about the compact powder first shall we?

So the loose powder is my sister's . Anyway , the All In One Face Base costs RM 65 because body shop is having a promotion . Before I went to buy this , I read some reviews , saying this thing is superb . Well , since i went out for dinner just now and used this , i have to say ... it just so-so . -_________-;

But I'm going to try it again . On the internet , they said this comes in 6 shades , but i just found 5 shades . Where is another 1?! Ok , this powder contains Marula Oil and Vitamin E as the main ingredients .

I picked Number 4 because it is a shade lighter than me . The salesgirl suggested me Number 5 . But Number 5 have the same shade as mine . I don't want to look darker than my skin tone when the oil comes out .. O_o?  anyway , the texture is actually quite nice so .. I'm going to give it a try again .

I also bought Face and Body Brush to use with this ..hahaha!! 

This brush is a synthetic brush . Like of course , we're talking about THE BODY SHOP . They are AGAINST ANIMAL TESTING and they are NATURE-LOVER . Anyway , I love the brush because it is very soft . And it's big !!!!!


Now , let's move to skin care

Why I bought this mask when I already falling in LOVE with HERBALINE's LIGHTENING MASK ? Well , it was because

1)I'm pretty sure Herbaline is close now because of Chinese New Year
2)I just did a calculation .  >>>>

The Herbaline Mask costs RM33 for 3 . So one is RM11 . I used the mask every week . So a month have 4 weeks . RM11 x 4 = RM44 . A year have 12 months . SO RM44 x 12 = RM528

What the Hell ?! I spend RM528 for only mask ??!! That is totally freaking me out!!   *Bukti pelajar Account .. hahahahaha!!*

So i guess , if I use this Body Shop mask , I can save a lot of money . RM99 for this container is actually quite good right ? I'm guessing I can use this for a year or less .

Anyway , this is actually a clay mask and the main ingredients are Kaolin clay , Organic Olive Oil and Carrot Oil . Comes in 100ml . I can't wait to use this !!! ^^

Next is ,

Microdermabrasion

..Why this things is so complicated to say and type ??!! -__-;

anyway , the main ingredients are Sweet Almond Oil , Shea Butter and Glycerin . Now , where is the ingredient that contains Vitamin C ???

Ok , when the salesgirl suggest me this , I was afraid to try because Vitamin C can make skin drier . I have a combination skin so I was kind of afraid to use this . But she said , this scrub contains Shea Butter that will moisturizes the skin . So when , I went to the internet , the main ingredients really helps to moisturize the skin as well as help the skin from dulling . This scrub contains of 75ml . So 1ml = RM1..kyaaaaa!!!





Wow , I think this post is long . And I'm tired .. >.<  I wanna sleep !!!! *yawn*
But I wanna use the scrub and also the mask .. hehe~~
I'll make sure to do a review about it later okay ??

As for now , I have a not so exciting/great news ..haha!!

The BEST and The WORST : Product to remove blackhead

Hi everyone ! How are you guys doing??^^
Anyway , today I'm going to talk about The BEST and The WORST product to remove blackhead .

Actually both of these are 2 different things . But the aim is the same . It is to remove those nasty BLACKHEADS!! Blackheads have been my enemy since I was 12 , I guess . Starting from age 13 , I used and tried many things to remove blackheads but nothing works . So I decided to share with you some of my experienced with these 2 products .


Let's begin with THE BEST

The texture

I FREAKING LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!

This product is actually a blackheads sebum gel . So basically , this is not like an instant blackhead remover but it works great . Contains of 30ml and you can use this thing for like a year . I use this after putting toner on my face . It feels a bit stinging sensations when you put this on your t-zone . 1 pump is enough for your whole t-zone . Though this product is quite expensive but it is really worth it . You can buy this at SaSa and Guardian(If I'm not mistaken) . Believe it or not , after a week using this product , I noticed that my blackheads started to get smaller and now it's gone by 90% ..wait no , 97%!!!SERIOUSLY !! Before this my nose was like durian because of the blackheads . -___-; so , you should buy this product if you have a serious blackheads problem . And don't worry , if this product doesn't work with you , you can get your money back within 2 weeks . I think . And the other reason I love this , it is not hurting at all !

THE WORST

 The Face Shop White Mud Nose Pack

Is this glue ? No ... It's the product

So , I hate this product!!!!gah!!!!

I think , Face Shop is hating me , or is it just me ? I don't like their gel mask and even this!! I don't even know why I bought this at the first place . Like seriously , I'm not joking . This is actually like nose strip . An instant way to remove your blackheads , the painful way .   It is 50g  and it says here that formulated with White Mud and Burdock(????) extract , this peel-off nose pack cleans and clarifies pores . So the reasons I HATE this product are actually because smell and it is hurting me like Hell!! It smells like they put so much fragrance in it . And yeah , it does contains fragrance . Not good . It hurts me when I peel it off . I swore that I cried , not really , but I wanted to cry when I peel it off . I had to use warm water to remove it . Don't like that glue texture . I think I can use this as a glue if I don't have any glue . So , NEVER trust the sales person who said this product is great .You should do a research before trying any skin care . And one more thing I hate this thing , it doesn't remove my blackheads ......
