Travel Post:Istanbul Aku Datang! -Part 2-

Assalamualaikum , Selamat Sejahtera , Hello and Merhaba!

PART 2 of my travel post in Istanbul. In this post I just want to talk about food.
People said foods in Turkey are the best because of the spices.Well,I don't really agree on that.
Most probably the food that our travel agent provide is not really suits my taste bud.But then what I love about Turkish food is that they use meats a lot :D  I love meats especially lamb..hihi

This plate consist of kebab and mini pizza which I think the best meal I had when I was in Istanbul.Unfortunately, this meal was also my last meal in Istanbul T_T

ahhh, bread as appertizer. The restaurant will give us bread and any kind of soup like tomato soup(surprisingly,it is very delicious...OMG i'm drooling >.<) . Then followed by the main course

Have you heard about Turkish coffee and tea?I tasted both. The Turkish coffee is a very black coffee. They served in a small cup because people can't drink it a lot.My tourist guide said that fortune teller use Turkish coffee to tell fortune.I'm not sure in which Harry Potter there this scene where Harry Potter's teacher did that fortune telling thing. And of course my family doesn't believe it.While the Turkish tea is quite similar to black tea.Black tea used for Bubble Milk Tea..weeee~I love that thing xD

Turkish Tea
Turkish Coffee
Now come the sweet part.I think most of you know Turkish Delight right? Here are some tips,do buy Turkish Delight in the Spice Market and buy the one that made from honey.Turkish Delight is sweet ,chewy and come in different flavours .When I go to the Spice Bazaar , I was thrilled because there are so many Turkish Delight and tea.

How about Baklava? To tell you the truth,I don't like it.It is too sweet for me.I had one and a half and it made me dizzy.Real dizzy.I don't have the pictures and I'm sorry >.<

Tips:

1)Buy souvenir at the Spice Market and NOT at the Grand Bazaar. It is a lot cheaper

2)You can taste some Turkish Delight and tea at the Spice Market :D

3)You can do some bargaining

I think that is all.Sorry for the lack info though.

at the highest point in Istanbul ^^

Travel Post:Istanbul Aku Datang!

Assalamualaikum , Selamat Sejahtera , Hello and Merhaba!
I hope all of you had a splendid holiday :D
Today,I'm going to talk about something different from before. It is my so call travel note?haha!
anway, recently I went to Istanbul and London with my family. But in this post I will talk about Istanbul first

(All pictures credit to my sister..hihi)

Marmara Sea in the early morning when we arrived

Istanbul Aku Datang is actually a new malay movie. You should watch if you didn't yet.It is fun ! :D

Anyway, after I watched the movie,I was really excited to go to Istanbul not because of the movie but because of the beautiful places to visit. Please note that I can't really state the specific amount or price because my family and I went with travel agency. >.< The tourist guide that helped is Rukhiye.....which my dad said Rokiah in Malay.LoL!She is really nice and know every single detail of the Turkish history

We first land at the Ataturk International Airport on 15th December 2012 around 5AM.The sun just rise and it is indeed beautiful. The weather is quit cold though.Around 8degree i guess (where is that degree symbol? ;A;)

ignore the faces..haha!
The first place we visit was The Blue Mosque

The Blue Mosque or the real name is Sultan Ahmed Mosque was built from 1609 to 1616 under the rule of Sultan Ahmed I . The name blue is actually because of the interior and exterior consists of blue colour . Blue is actually my favourite colour!yippee!!

When we first arrived , there this one biiiiiiiig cat. So cute and human-friendly.haha!Then when walked around the mosque , we can spot so many cats..to anyone who hates cat , you're doomed >:D LoL!don't worry. Those fluff ball are harmless..... *evil smirk* and...dogs also.. >.<

my nephew~ ^^

After we visit the beautiful Blue Mosque , we went to Hagia Sophia, which is in front of the Blue Mosque

more cat ...LoL!
I have to say Hagia Sophia is actually my most favourite place to visit. The building and the history amazed me.From a church to mosque and now museum.every single detail of the architecture and arts in it have so many meaning.Just amazing.Really.If I write a post about this you guys probably bored...but but but HISTORY IS AMAZING! yes I love history eventhough I'm suck in it

Hagia Sophia have so many name such as AyaSofya or Sancta Sophia . It means Holy Wisdom...which at first I thought a name of a female.hihi.If I'm not mistaken , Hagia Sophia was built 1000years before The Blue Mosque, yet is is the most amazing building in the history . This is because Hagia Sophia is much more taller than other mosque . Can you just imagine how they built it? Wowww

Interesting fact and tips:

1)THERE IS SO MANY STRAY CATS AND DOG WHICH ARE SO ADORABLE!!!!!!BUT I LOVE CATS MOAARRRR!!

2)It's cold there...some other part in Turkey already snowed

3)If you learn history you will be amazed..really.Do some reading before you go to some country ^.~

4)You need to put you shoes in the provided plastic bags when you enter any mosque. So do wear shoes that easy to take off

5)Some of the places like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Musuem have security check. So please do not bring anything harmful

I think I will end this post here. Will post another part soon.I wish I can tell you all the amazing history buuuuuuuuuuut, I don't you guys to get bored.ngahahahaha

Feel the freshness of Jeju-do :D

Assalamualaikum , Selamat Sejahtera , Hello and Annyeonghaseyo !
just add a little korean there because I'm going to share with you about The Face Shop

The Face Shop is originated from South Korea which is one of the famous brand. Not only in Korea but I can say Asia.

Today,I'm going to share with you one of the product that I love-because i have tried other product from the brand and I hate is so much-It is Pure Water Facial Mist in Jeju Marine

credit to:http://www.thefaceshop.my

The reason why I bought this baby is actually because I want to bring it on my holiday especially since I went during the winter season. And oh boy, this baby saves my life!!!!

First,it is 70ml which I can bring it on board.(Note:any liquid must not exceed 100ml to bring on plane)
Second,it gives this instant hydration which is superb because my skin becomes veryyyyyyy dry when I was in Istanbul and London
Third,I subtitute my toner with this baby because it is smaller
Fourth,I love the smell!!It smell so refreshing!
Fifth,I can spray it on my face anytime I want

The pure water facial mist range come in 3 types.Jeju Marine,Jeju Orange and Jeju Flower. If you wonder what is Jeju it is actually an island located in the south of South Korea.Hello geography! :D (one of my favourite subject)

I think that is all from me.Feel free to comment and ask anything.

Hada Labo:they hates me T_T

Assalamualaikum , Selamat Sejahtera and Hello everyone!
SPM IS FINISH!!!!I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
LoL!Anyway,I should go back to what I wanted to talk about
Today,I'm going to share about a skin care range which I used for about 3 months this year.
That is Hada Labo the whitening range

Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Face Wash

Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion

Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Milk

All pictures credit to their official website : http://www.hadalabo.com.my/en/whitening-care.html

It is from Mentholatum if you wonder

I don't know what I like about this product actually. It makes my skin so dry.I have some dry patches on my skin after a month of usage. At first,I can't really see any results. Then I started to see the bad effects. So,I stop using it and went back to my Herbaline...*sigh*

But now,I only use the whitening lotion which acts like a toner.I can say it does makes my skin brighter.Or maybe because I have been lock in my room to study.huhu

Let's  go one by one

1)Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Face Wash-50g
I forgot the price but if not mistaken it is about RM30++.correct me if I'm wrong
All I can say is,this thing is really foamy and it smells nice.It have this kind of citrus smell to it.But then I'm not sure if this face wash makes my skin dry.SUSPECT #1!

2)Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion-170ml
It cost around RM50++  . It is clear solution. It does not feel sticky which is good.Have some sort a smell which I cannot really tell what it is.Like I said,I've been using this as a toner. So, I don't think this product cause my skin dry .NOT GUILTY!

3)Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Milk-140ml
Totally forgot the price.Sorry.hehe.I don't like how it makes my skin feel oily after I put it.Gosh, just hate how this moisturiser does to me >.< SUSUPECT #2!

Hope that I help you guys a bit. That is all from me,
